Hotel Celide is located in front of the ancient walls that surround the historic center of Lucca, just a short walk from the main monuments.

Lucca is city designed for people, with a historic center that is almost entirely pedestrian — perfect for exploring on foot or by bike.

The hotel offers its guests free bikes to discover the hidden corners of the city and to enjoy the “traditional wall tour.”

The hotel is also ideally located for jogging enthusiasts. Just a few meters away, you’ll find the city walls, the perfect place to run in Lucca. The 4.2 km route, combining asphalt and dirt paths, winds through greenery and is shaded by centuries-old trees, making it ideal for an outdoor run.

By car

Coming from the A11 motorway: take the Lucca Est exit and, after passing the overpass, turn right (the city walls will be on your left). After passing the railway station, continue straight along Viale G. Giusti, and just before the roundabout, you will find the hotel on your right.

Please note that if you arrive by car, you can use our two parking lots free of charge, subject to availability.

Transport

By Train

The hotel is just 500 meters from the railway station.

As you exit the station, turn right onto Viale G. Giusti (keeping the city walls on your left) and continue straight until you reach the hotel, which will be on your right just before the roundabout.

By Plane

Florence Airport is 70 km away (about 50 minutes), while Pisa Airport is 30 km away (about 30 minutes).

From these airports, you can reach the hotel by train, rental car, or, upon request and for an additional fee, we can arrange a transfer.
